Graduate Intern | Project Assistant

Position Summary

Graduate Interns - Project Assistants assist in research and analytical efforts for entertainment and cultural attractions, including theme parks, water parks, aquariums, museums, live entertainment, sports venues, and other location based entertainment destinations. Working with a professional team of experts in attraction demand and feasibility, Associates develop supporting analysis and presentations that inform the market and financial viability of new attractions, venues, and leisure resort projects.
 

In addition to the research and analysis tasks listed above, Interns will learn project management skills that include experience managing internal research teams, interviewing industry contacts, coordinating with clients and project partners, and presenting findings to clients and other project stakeholders. International travel is possible.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct economic and industryresearch and analysis
  • Compile and organize research data to produce projection models and presentations
  • Document research data, analysis and projection models into economic and industry specific reports
  • Market analysis, demand assessment, due diligence, feasibility studies, financial modelling and other advisory work for leading regional and international visitor attraction projects
  • Assist in preparation of client presentations to support marketing and business development of new opportunities

Candidate Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in the entertainment and cultural attraction industries
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including effective visual representation of complex data
  • Ability to develop clear and concise thoughts into proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking ability
  • Solid analytical problem solving skills
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with quantitative analysis and financial modelling
  • 2+ years of experience in research, analytical, operations, consulting role within entertainment, tourism, hospitality, finance or real estate development preferred
  • Undergraduate degree is required and post-graduate qualifications are preferred
  • English professional proficiency required
  • Availability to work at least three days per week
