Project Managment
- Floriade is an A1 BIE and AIPH accredited World horticultural Expo being held every decade in The Netherlands.
- The 2012 event was held in Venlo: It was the first time the expo was outside the Randstad corridor and in the south of the country.
- Acted as Project Management leader in the management team and was tasked to develop the hospitality and park operations for the full duration of the expo (186 days)
- The expo was held between April and October and welcomed some 2.05 million guests.
- Part of pre-opening team, overseeing design, development, implementation and operations of site. P&L responsibility and daily operational management (ticketing, admissions, guest relations, guided tours, operations, quality control, tenders (F&B, ticketing, internal transport, retail), human resources and administration).
- Managed 15 direct and 450 indirect reports.
